WHEN SHOULD WE SEND OUT SAVE THE DATES AND INVITATIONS?

I would suggest that you aim to get your Save the Dates out approx. 6-9months before your wedding date, especially if you have a number of overseas guests attending.
You would then send your wedding invitations out approx. 8-10weeks before your big day.

HOW DO WE GET STARTED?

Firstly send me an email via our contact form or give me a call. The more information you can give me in your initial email, the better – wedding date, approx. quantities, design style you like. I can then put together a quote and take you through the design process!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

As each job is custom designed, once I know what you want I will supply you with a personalised quote. We require a 50% deposit prior to starting your design. Final payment is then due prior to the delivery of your stationery. All costs will be clearly outlined in your quote.

DO WE GET TO SEE A PROOF?

You will see a number of pdf proofs throughout the concept stage. Once we have finalised your design you will sign off on a pdf proof. If you would like a printed proof of your design prior to production this can be done for an extra fee.

CAN WE HAVE THE GUEST NAMES PRINTED ON OUR INVITES?

Yes! All guest names can be printed onto the invitations. I will supply you with an xcel sheet to fill in.

CAN WE HAVE THE GUEST ADDRESSES PRINTED ONTO THE ENVELOPES?

Yes! All guest names and addresses can be printed directly onto the envelopes or onto labels. I will supply you with an xcel sheet to fill in.

WHAT STOCK CAN WE CHOOSE FROM?

There is a huge range of stocks to choose from for your invitations. We can talk through the options once I know the style you are after – white, cream, kraft…the list goes on! These come in a range of thickness depending on whether you are digitally printing (usually 300gsm) or letterpress (usually 450gsm) We always try to match your invitation and envelope stock.

HOW MANY INVITATIONS SHOULD WE PRINT?

We recommend you order an extra 5-10 blank invitations for any extra additions or changes to your guest list! Printing extras at a later stage can be very costly.

HOW WILL WE GET OUR FINAL INVITATIONS?

These will either be hand delivered to you (if you are in the Taranaki region) or sent to you by courier. Your invitations will be placed into their envelopes all ready for you to seal, stamp and send! Shipping costs are not additional, but Crafted by hilary takes no responsibility for loss or damages incurred to items through courier delivery.

WHAT STYLES AND PRINTING METHODS DO YOU OFFER?

We use trusted suppliers to do all our printing. This includes high quality digital printing, letterpress and foiling.

WHAT ON THE DAY STATIONERY ITEMS DO YOU OFFER?

We can produce pretty much anything for your wedding day. Some popular items are Menus, Table Numbers, Place Names, Order of Service, Confetti cups, Welcome Signs, Seating Plans, Thank you cards. These can be printed, hand painted, laser cut….please email me to enquire about something you might be interested in and I will do my best to make it happen!
